Default Tekin DYN900 Motor Dyno?

Does anyone have any experience with a Tekin DYN900 Motor Dyno? Care to share?

I've been looking to go upscale; but, Tekins seem to be abundant.

Like any other dyno, it's just a tool. It's what you do with the information it provides you that makes it good or bad. I used one for many many years until I picked up a Fantom earlier this year. My 2 criticisms of the Tekin is the voltage to the motor is only 5Volts, I wish it were 7. Also it would be nice if it would have a way to test the motor with a load on it and check RPM built into it without having to adjust the load all the time, but if you wire a switch between one of the leads on the slave motor that you can leave the ampload set and just turn the slave motor on and off.

Good info. Thanks.

I will keep looking high end. More likely a CE Turbodyno.

I had a tekin dyno early on, then picked up a used turbodyno ...the turbodyno most definitely gives you a lot more information, and if you pick one up with the IR printer you can print out your dyno runs.
