We respect those who deserve to win. Patriotism is one thing. The wording is too sensitive. Imagine yourself yelling out the same statement in a pub.......I worry you better run for cover. I'm sure someone can put it in a more sophisticated way.

Wilfred : Erhh... the title of this thread is highy misleading.... it sounds hostile ( as in hostile to Japanese or Asian on the whole) yet the contents are most definately not. As an Asian, of course I feel a tingle of pride whenever someone from our region of the world takes to the podium, be it RC or full sized racing, but I still feel its most enjoyable when the best driver wins ( Take that Ferrari : P Team orders my ass!!!! )

FYI Masami Hirosaka has always been a force to be reckoned with in RC for as far as I can remember : P He did not just "pop out" overnight, he has been ard since the days of Joel Johnson etc. Its not only the Japanese who are doing well, credit more certainly most be given to Thailand's Surikarn ( Sorry if I spelled his name wrong ), who is now one of, if not the top Tamiya Factory 414M driver.

The bottom line for me is, it does not really matter where the winning driver is from, as long as it was the best driver who won : )

Regards : )

The Ferrari deal was total BS. Schumacher didn't deserve the win.

Sorry for the wrong impressions guy, my apologies, i just got carried away. I just hope that this coming reedy race on may 27, that tamiya will be on top again after junn with the tao3, this will be a race to see, imagine tamiya will be hosting it, and i hope that the team trf will dominate since it's their home track.

Don't blame it on Schumacher, blame it on Ferrari! Tehy're still my favorites in F1 though.

that's why i never liked and will never like F1 as much as the Indy car race. the race is very very boring, you pretty much know who's the winner after a couple of laps.
