This was my first major ROAR event and it lived up to the bill.

First and formost I want to thank Al Sodano and Greg Sharpe for their dedication to push the limits of RC and taking this facility to the highest levels of professionalism they are capable of. These two guys work tireslessly to bring to us a track we can all be proud of. They have traveled the country racing and use those experiences to improve this facility each and every year. Since all this did not occur by just these 2 individuals alone, the excellent support crew of vollenteers must also be recognized. This includes but is not limited to these persons,

Joe Staino, marketing and promotion, graphics, F1 and WGT promotion and
general grunt work.
Chris Opydyke
Alex Valdez, promotion, race director and ambassador of rc.
Mike Hanulec, general support and track maintance.
Jerry Perez, general support and track maintance.
Barry Lofton, general support and track maintance.
Jeff Cuffs. His traveling the country, experiences and achievements brought
the track to higher standards and to the level it is today
Mike Ivy. It must be noted this guy sacrificed several days out of his life to
benefit all of us.
Joel Johnson, I was here when Joel gave advise on the original "curb style"
layout, his suggestions helped shape and mold one of the earlier designs.

I want to thank these individuals for their support in getting my program up and running for this weekend,

Warren Weaver, motor and battery.
Barry Lofton, Tom Lane and Rui Goncalves, chassis support.
Scooby Horton, well, just for being himself.

This event had all the elements, competition, drama, suspense, laughter, tension, monsoons, "ezup carnage" and in the end the crowning of national champions. The RMT crew could not have been better. They were friendly, and answered all questions in regards to tech/spec issues. They were more than willing to take the time to walk us through the process so our cars were legal by racetime.

The high profile drivers and representatives who came to the track were all very approachable by my assessment and this made the event even more meaningful to me.

Though my on track performance decided to "take this weekend off" it did not in any way diminish my overall enjoyment of the event. I met many new people that I never would have had I not attended the event. Thanks everyone for adding to my rc memories.

See ya'll soon.

Right back at ya!

Since your main, as well as mine did not quite turn out as anticipated, maybe we will at some point duel it out for "bragging rights" in the near future,,,,,,,,time will tell

Whoever filmed for teamb&b forgot to keep the camera focused on the cars ! I doubt that he'll produce a good video all the way through; these cameramen are way too emotional !!! The Nats also needed a more lively person behind the mic !!!!!

I guess people don't realize that the people filming aren't professionals. Team b+b was filmed by the dad of the driver who should be shaky because its his sons last race for a while.

to add to what Jerry said, it was a Dad nice enough to share his videos with everyone - and I believe he posted something applogizing about the filming because he had a vested interest in another driver, his son...

and the announcer was provided by the ROAR Race Management Team - and his name was Jimmy Babcock, maybe you heard of him?!?!

Maybe next time you can "man up" and volunteer so that dad can focus on watching his son.

There are a few good jackson rc videos on youtube , and I got used to that level of filming , thinking the nats videos were going to be even better! So sorry for the mixup , and hopefully the old filming crew will make a comeback !!! I did not make it to the Nats ! If I did I would have shot some vids !

A lot of the videos shot before the nationals were shot by Larry and Mike Ivy. Larry was busy racing and Mike was busy helping out the RMT crew.
