If lowering entry fees 20 dollars is make or break for someone to come to this race I would be suprised.

All big races cost money. It cost me over a Grand to go to the snowbirds and that is just plane ticket, rental car and hotel.

Its the cost of racing at a national level race. Some see it as worth it some don't.

Yeah I hear you on that. But for $85 you get nothing. I've been to a few nats. and the birds and for the price I paid I always got something in return. I know time are changing But you have to look at this money is hard all over.

Actually, the sponsors of this race are going to make it worthwhile for the entrants with some great giveaways, much like some other big races. As more sponsors come on board to support this race, the pool of product deeper and the racers get even more value for their entry.

I was talking to Andrew and Ian and they have some family commitments that weekend, so not for a lack of creative thinking Andrew and Ian will not be able to attend the nats, which sucks, as they are great pit mates.

Oh well, they will be at the vegas race.

Cheers

You must be getting wiser in your old age.

Good to see you are going to make it out for the Race.

Well either wiser or more stupid...lets go with wiser

Looking forward to the event. It will be a long drive.

How is the grip level at the track? From the videos I have seen, the track does not seem to have much grip.

Cheers,
M

The grip is good at Jackson. If not better than the Tamiya track has been.

Glad you are going to make it.

Btw, does trackside support come with purchase of your app?

For me, it's not about getting something of tangible value for the entry fee, it's about coming to a national race and seeing how I stack up against some of the best drivers in my class. If I can squeak into the A-main, then it was all worth it.

If you looked at the first post....

Deep discount on your first set of tires, very reasonably priced thereafter, giveaways, big tent with tables and chairs for our fly ins and out of towners free of charge.

We also have some other things going that Greg will post as we get closer.
