Kyosho new?
It seems like a lot of guys are posting speculations on whether Kyosho will jump back in to the 1/10 electric TC game on other threads, so I thought I'd start this one. We know they have the resources, and I think its funny to speculate and get imaginations running, even if its pointless.
Since Losi is doing a new center battery car, maybe Kyosho will evolve their design (or start completely over, depending on your point of view) in to something that works better and may be excepted more. Thoughts? I know there's been rumors of shelved protype cars in the past, but the possibility for a new production car is interesting from one of the biggest manufacturers.

the TF5 is a very classical shaft car.
It was prensented last year at the Shizouka hobby show and this year again, someone posted a link in other thread .
About the ZX5 (the 4wd buggy based on the TF5) 2 were in the Japanese Championship A-main

Yeah, I saw those buggies, but what about a new OnRoader?

well, I think this answers your question:

TF5. Shaft drive.
Much as I like their products, I wish their part support for electric cars were better in US. Tried running the old KX-1, but that was pain in the you know where far as getting parts. When it's being distributed by only ONE company, and 1/2 of the stuff you need is out of stock, it makes the car an expensive paper weight.

yet another manufacturer to go with this typical shaft drive design, kyosho's last car was way more innovative and unique, the kx-one was really something special. but, wasn't popular enough...

Nice tc and off-roader. They should import both here.

Exactly - Kyosho have been playing with prototype buggies for the last couple of years... last years "new" buggy and tourer had an unusual rear gear/belt drive system... this years model is a shaft!
Wonder what prototype they will have for 2005???
