big indoor 1/12th scale races

Do they still have big indoor 1/12th scale races like they did back in the day? Clevland always had a big race (I think it was called the US indoor championships) and there were others like Grand Rapids, MI.

Other than the snowbirds, do these types of races still exist?

Lots of big races that include 1/12th scale racing but none that I know of that are considered "big" and are only 1/12th.

Thanks for the link to the Clevland race.

They don't need to be 1/12th only. I just wanted to find out about races of this size and format. I'd be interested in hearing of others.

I figured that's what you meant but in the old days that's the way it was.

US Indoor championships @ Cleveland
The IIC @ Las Vegas
Snowbirds @ Florida
Roar Carpet Nationals - different locations
Roar Asphalt Nationals - different locations

Then like the other poster said, there are smaller "big" races and I would include the TimeZone grand prix to his list. Awesome indoor carpet event in the Pacific NW.
