Arrow I need LiPos! What kind should I buy and from where?

I'm planning on getting lipo's and a balancer charger but I'm not sure what kind to get and where has the best prices. Plus, I don't want to buy anything that's only going to last a short time.

Anybody have any battery/charger/store suggestions for me?

The Intellect batteries have a good price and are lasting long. I have had both the 30C and the 50C and they last at least half a year (when racing much in mod).
HobbyKing has good chargers, eg. the Imax series (b5, b6, b8). Remember, the b8 is hugh compared to the b5

Go with a major name hobby brand if you want best performance and reliability.

The Orion or Peak are good packs. You really do get what you pay for. A good lipo can last you for years. A bad lipo may only last you a few months.

If you have a power supply this is more than good enough for your needs.

If you don't then get this.

Nah, the good Orion packs are expensive for what you get. There are a series of brands that produce better batteries for a lower price, eg. Intellect, ProTech, Venom...
Check Amainhobbies.com, they're damn good

I went to my LHS to but a single part for my car, and walked out with a Venom Pro Charger for $110. Has anybody had any problems with this charger?

I also got a battery for $50 that was 120 before... I dont remember the brand right now but when I look next I'll be sure to post and find out exactly what i bought. Its a 2s 30c 4900mah that can be charged at 10amps.
