Epic Binary2

I own a Epic binary2 9x1 ...... was this thing worth it? could someone tell me a little about it?

pink pac man 10-02-2004 06:46 PM

i dont own 1 nor have i seen 1 but ive seen the stock[27t] version and its pretty sick...............................all i know is that its a very recent motor and cos itys a lower wind it should be worth a few

JDXray 10-02-2004 06:50 PM

i have the 19t binary, it is QUICK! but thats all i know about it now, lol I use the Reedy Quad now.

big_dave 10-02-2004 06:56 PM

Yea, i felt like my car was breaking the sound barrier when i had it wide open down the street.........by far the loudest electric motor i have ever heard. I was looknig for like how durable it is whats the top rpm cause i dont have a dyno and they must have ripped the spec sticker off when they sent it to me, but yea things like that

pink pac man 10-02-2004 06:59 PM

i is and whould be very quik and noisie my lrp 9x2 is very loud how have you timmed it

big_dave 10-02-2004 07:01 PM

i left the timing alone for now........just got it.......but i think its ummmmmmmmm 20 degrees maybe?

big_dave 10-02-2004 07:04 PM

yea i just checked......its 20

pink pac man 10-02-2004 07:04 PM

ok im just wandering how you time it cos i race stock and always will but i have a lrp 9x2 and was wandering why it is so slow its timmed at 0 so if i time it a 20 should it hoon

pink pac man 10-02-2004 07:06 PM

top speed 45 that must be with a 540 my stock does 60 and my 9x2 does 85 this is kph

big_dave 10-02-2004 07:08 PM

Im not sure what it would do actually..........you could always try though.......try timing 20 degrees to the right and see what it does

pink pac man 10-02-2004 07:10 PM

im timing to the right at 21 but the sticker only goes to 8 am i whreking it buy timing to the moon......................................why did you get rid of your signiture

big_dave 10-02-2004 07:15 PM

Oh i must misclicked or something, yea i did 45 mph but i was overgeared a little that was with the 9x1 though......i havent tryed the 9x2

big_dave 10-02-2004 07:17 PM

shouldnt make much difference though

pink pac man 10-02-2004 07:41 PM

are you in mph or kph cos if 45 is in mph then it sound fine

big_dave 10-02-2004 07:50 PM

mph....:P

pink pac man 10-02-2004 07:51 PM

yeah that what i thought cos 45 in kph is like a 540 but 45 in mph is bloody flyin

pink pac man 10-02-2004 07:55 PM

i also noticed that you have a tao4 i also own a tao4[540 racing] and i have a xray now[stock racing] but on my tao4 when i turn i get this quere clicking sound cumming from the front of the car at first i thought it was the belt slipping but i cheked it and it wasnt the belt so i am now thinking its the cvd hitting the c hub have you ever had this problem

big_dave 10-02-2004 08:02 PM

nope ive never had a problem like that.........but if youre talking about turning while youre moving it could be as simple as just bottoming out.........i do that quite often cause of the screws holding that bumper on

pink pac man 10-02-2004 08:08 PM

nope its not botteming out cos i can hear a loud bindin nouse when im racing on carpet

big_dave 10-02-2004 08:13 PM

im not sure what it is........i dont think it would be to hard to find out though........just put it on a board so the wheels arent touching the ground accel and then turn em

pink pac man 10-02-2004 08:15 PM

i remember doing that and finding nothing but ill try it again to see if i descover anything

big_dave 10-02-2004 08:18 PM

and if that doesnt work try altering your suspension so its as if the car is on the ground
