f you want to go the cheeper way you can get an even better charger for slightly more then the charger so all in all it would be cheaper do to the high costs of power supplies

http://integy.automated-shops.com/cg...53104260854.c3
no power supply needed because it takes ac power

hope i helped

Default I've got the Integy 16x4 Charger.

I've got the Integy 16x4 Charger. While the specs are very impressive for the price, I've lost confidence with it on smaller battery packs. It seems to false peak very often. Other chargers, like the cheap Duratrax Piranha allow you to adjust the threshold voltage which reduces false peaks on slower charging small battery packs. The Integy has no such adjustment.

I just picked up the Triton which is on sale at TowerHobbies. It has all the features of the Integy, plus can charge LiIon and LeadAcid. It does require the purchase of a power supply.

but the triton does't have a way to shut off the trickle charge on it and i read elsewhere that not being able to do that is bad.

You can shut off trickle mode on the Triton, please don't post wrong information, especially if you don't have the charger.

Default Plus Triton does not trickle Li/Ion.

Plus Triton does not trickle Li/Ion. That would be disastrous. I've only used theTriton a few times now but so far I'm very satisfied. I'm going to pic up the temperature sensor for it next.

Ya know, that's not the first time I've heard that about Integy. I sent an email to them once with a very simple question about one of their products and it took them three weeks to reply with a one line response. Needless to say, I'm steering clear of Integy in the future.
