Default Wet race ...

We had a wet day last weekend during a club race and at the end of the day a couple of guys decided to go nuts and try drifting in the wet.

check out 3hobby.com for a video of it.

Btw, is this electric cars too ??
Yes, this is electric... Over two days of racing, there was only one blown speedo I think, and it was mine And it wasn't even because of the rain...

ive raced in worse conditions

it was at a national in july and i was in the first heat (first national you see) and it was raining like mad, it had only been raining about 10 minsutes and there was puddles atleast 1 inch deep on some parts of the tracks.

there was me with an 80 quid esc, just about slick d20 wet tyres and one-way diff...it was mental.

but then you would see people with 150 quid esc go pop...i mean whats the point in spending 150 on an esc if its gonna go pop..could atleast put some effort into water proofing it.

lol, anyway, the puddles were like that for the first heat, there was about 20 people on the track sweeping them off while i was racing..haha but by the end of round one it was crazy, looooooads of puddles and it was still racing.

iirc one heat my car came back about 50 grams more then it did to start with because of all the water it had picked up mental!

Talking

The company Mtroniks makes water proof esc's and I've heard that they make water proof receivers. But there is one catch, only on 40 mhz. DANG IT!!!! I got a nice 40 mhz radio but I cannot use it in the US right? Guess I'll stay here in England just to use it hehe.
