I suggest you take a look at the videos from this years Euros, and then you'll understand what racing in the rain is all about.

ummhh...... me My local circuit don't care if it raining like hurricane. The show must go on !!! ...... as I said at begining " do you dare ? "

BTW, you know the risk : water and electronics don't mix !! You might say bye bye speedo, receiver, or transmitter. So protect your gear properly against water and condensation.

I tried it once.. A few brave souls doing some parking lot racing on a pvc track. At the time foams weren't really being used outside and I just happened to have a set. They were the tires that would hook up. but something tells me I switched out to HPI 15-40 tires...

It was a good time until I lost my 150.00 servo....

one word... COOL! i saw a car just blast thorugh a puddle while it just poured like mad and it didn't even slow down! and the cars look like they are hooking up pretty nicely. do you run diffs, or one way and what tires do you run. If only I could learn how to do this!

somebody mentioned ice racing, a while ago i started a thread on here about it. but its trying to convince people that it wont hard thier cars. the ice is so cold on an ice rink you would not get much water developing, i think there are a few pictures of some tyres we tried.. i will add them if i find them.

only one i couls find.. we had loads but i formatted etc since. those pins are excesivly long, we found that worn foams with around 1 and a half to two mm of pin pertruding worked best. long pins make the car unstable, very grippy but un predictable.

I like racing in the wet if you waterproof your car right (i've finished every time ), i have three cars so one is a wet car the tc3 (i get it ready before the meating ), all i have to do is put a the crystal in and battery, cover it over with a under tray and go racing

Racing on slicks is cool in the wet definetly not as quick at some tracks but it's fun
