While I was working over at Team Associated I had the pleasure of dealing with Mike every day. The stories I could tell are numerous...that was one funny guy! And while not on the same page as some, he would always come out with something that blew everyone away. He just knew his stuff.

I remember his pit space at big races was filled with team motors...and he would sit there all day and true the comms, meticulously solder on new brushes, tweak the springs and adjust the timing. That was his world...and he was the man.

Good times and fond memories. You will be missed, Mr. Reedy. It was a pleasure knowing you.

Rest well Mike, knowing you have left behind so many people whose lives are better for having known you. If there was an RC Hall of Fame, yours would be name Numero Uno on the wall. It was a pleasure to say I knew you, although I could never repay the time and support you gave me in my time in IFMAR. Thanks Mike, rest in peace.

I met Mike in 1975 when electric was really in it's infancy, he also built one of my first .21 nitro engines for 1/8 onroad racing. One of the most pleasant gentlemen I ever met and a true pioneer of R/C car racing. My condolences to the Reedy and Associated families, he will be remembered and missed.

I think its fair to say that everyone who posts on our On-Road section of RCTech will have run Reedy motors at some point. I loved the power and driveaility of the Ti-series modifieds.

RIP Mike.

Since I first met Mike in the early 90's he always impressed me - not only with his motor expertise but by the dignified way that he carried himself. I had nothing but respect for this man. He's already been missed in the last few years, and will continue to be missed.

A true gentleman.

My condolences to his close friends and family, and all those at Reedy/Associated.

Rest In Peace Mr. Reedy, I like many others had the pleasure of meeting this legendary man during my r/c career. He was a cornerstone to the entire r/c industry as it is known today. His passion for racing was endless and dedication unmatched which is proven by the countless national, international, and world titles he powered. My thoughts go out to his entire family and r/c family.

Default Rest in peace Mr. Reedy

I was fortunate enough to get meet you on a few occasions, and it has been an honour racing wearing your name stickers on my cars!
You are a true legend, and the stories from racemeetings and debriefings are numerous, but also make me sad.
Although you quickly dubbed me "the black sheep", I was deeply touched by your racecraft and passion for racing. It was an honour to have you visit Denmark .

Thank you and rest in peace old friend!
