Which Carpet National? '03 was all Cyrul in Mod, a TC3 did win stock, because an X-Ray and a xxx-s had a "racing altercation" which resulted in a TC3 inheriting the lead in the final main, and therefore taking the championship. Fastest times turned all weekend in all Touring Classes were turned by X-rays. Roar Asphalt Nats, Masters and Stock both won by FTK X-rays, and I do agree that chassis balance plays a major role. I can't help the fact that X-ray has managed to package a super efficient drivetrain in a superbly balanced chassis. It's not like the X-Ray's superior handling is masking an inefficient drivetrain, that assertion is actually comical.

If Xray ever released a shaft drive tourer...may look similar to the Evo-IV with the aluminum bulkheads. Arms, suspension and durability of the Pro4.
Nothing beats the performance, quality and craftsmanship of Xray cars...

Ouch...sore spot... but I had to get this in here... I believe the fastest recorded laps in stock racing were 12.2's...done by a Losi XXXS

What every new TC they release, i only hope that they don't make it a moulded tub, at least not for the top of the line.. CF plates are so much better looking..

Predator did shaftdrive car with saddlepacks.
It had the motor on one side in the rear and the servo on the other side with long linkage to the steering system, the batterys were in the middle.
I say if the Predator touring car had been easier to assemble and made by bigger company it would have been a hit.
