Good idea posting this here, FEMCA covers a big part of the globe so surely this is considered a top tier event.

I've heard some pretty promising rumours about internationals that are either confirmed or very likely to attend, hopefully they turn out to be true.

For anyone interested in making the trip, "stock" in Australia is 17.5t motors with open ESC. Mod and 12th scale are the same as everywhere else on the planet, maybe with the exception of weight which for TC is 1425g, I'm not sure about 12th.

Questions??

Any type of 4 doors body(non-IFMAR) is allowed?
About stock class, the rotor must be standard, then how many minutes race?

Best regards

Mac, we run approved body only here, also max rotor size is 12.5mm. Our local body runs 6minute heats but most club meets are 5 minutes.

Would be thinking it will be 5 minutes. Be interested in what will be the control tire.

Another thing to point out is that stock will be 17.5t I assume, since stock is different in every country you go to.

I'm pretty sure 17.5 will be 6 mins actually.

I also believe the control tyre is the sweep exp36-pp.

I understand the track will be treated for the event so high grip is expected, I'll post a photo soon, it's a very large track with a good mix of fast and slow. The straight is 60m from memory.

Photo of the track attached. The track is 75mx30m with a 60m straight (apex to apex), so very large.

Technical rules can be found here
http://aarcmcc.org/docs/EP%20Onroad%...c16%202010.pdf

The body rules are as follows:

9.6.1 2 & 4 door sedan style bodies are allowed that are currently on the IFMAR, EFRA or ROAR body listings, and fit within the Global Body Specifications for electric touring cars. Sports coupe, GT style or hybrid bodies will not be allowed unless approved by IFMAR, EFRA or ROAR.
9.6.2 All details of front and rear lights, air intakes and windows must be clearly contrasted from surrounding paintwork.
9.6.3 Body-shells may not be cut above the lower door line.
9.6.4 Body-shells may not be cut above the lower rear bumper line. (maximum height of 45mm)
9.6.5 Body-shells must be securely fixed to the chassis at all times during a race.
9.6.6 Only one cut out, maximum 10mm diameter for the radio antenna (If used), may be made in the body except for clearance for the wheels (wheel arches), body mounting holes and lap timing equipment.
9.6.7 All wheel arches must be cut out as on the original car. No more than 10mm clearance between the wheels and the wheel arches is allowed
