ss5800
i'm pretty close to getting the ss5800 system but i have only a few more questions
i heard if you crash going full speed you can easly blow a fet?
something is always bund to go wrong with this system and it will have to be sent back?
temp range, will the esc really shut off and save you?
thats it!, this is just a really big investment for my rc car and i want to make sure i'm getting quallity!!! i have heard alot of great things about this system but on the other hand i have heard some horror stories

They are really reliable. I have wrecked really hard while running that system without any problems. I mean, the car broke but the motor and speedo were fine. There is a thermal cut off if you overtax the system, but it only justs down if you really overgear the system. I've never had anything go wrong with mine; that's the beauty of brushless. Charge a pack and run. From time to time clean the bearings.

yea i'm getting one i just want to know what i'm getting into,
with the right gearing the ss5800 system should get no hotter than my 19t right because its geared appropriatly? my 19t and stock esc got about the same temp now, is that how the 5800 system will get?

well it just a parking lot so wide turns long straights and every now and then when have a super tight section for fun, i guess i will just start out with my stock tc3 gearing and go from thier right?
if i find that its to slow i just move up 1 or 2 teeth on the pinnion right?
