Default How awesome would this have been

I am in the process now of rebuilding my Yokomo MR4-TC, with some nice old school stuff. ...I have brushless in my Race Buggy, so I wanted something to mess around with outside, while I take a break from racing. Outside my house, they just repaved and it's the smoothest, most beautiful tarmac you have ever seen.

Now that it is rebuilt ( 95% ) I soldered up a ESC I got from here ( thanks jessnlaurie ), new Novak wires world's kit and a cleanup.

Got 4 of these motors still new in package, so i decided I would use them. They are the Reedy/Yokomo () 8T quad magnet Modifed motors. Should be pretty damn fast.

Going to run 2s pro tek lipos. I have a brand new Flysky FS-GTB3 2.4ghz radio and a S300 servo ( 100 oz , .13 speed, Dual bearing ).

Also have a HPI S15 Silva body on the way.

This thing would have rocked a few years ago....

It was a nice car back then. My only problem with it was that the $28 aluminum center pulley constantly burned up on me.

If you need parts, I still have NIB CVDs and springs for it. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks guys...

This should be a great project to continue. When the rest of the parts get here, I will give a update.

Everything is done, and man I forgot how fast 8T mod motors are.

REALLY FREAKING FAST!

I say equal to a 5800kv to a 6500kv motor easy!

Default MR4 Parts

Here's a pic of all the MR4 parts I have. They're all NIB.
