I have a blitz and an fgx so I had to check this out because it sounds like a great idea. Unfortunately the blitz uprights will not accept a king pin all the way through it like the fgx front end has. The blitz takes a screw from the top and bottom with the bearings and axle in between the screws.

Well that depends on the rules under which you will be racing and the surface you will be racing on. If grip is good and foams are allowed the F109 will be faster. If grip is poor and the track is bumpy most likely the FGX will be quicker. If the rules limit the width to 180mm than neither car is legal...if the limit is 190mm then the FGX is legal but the F109 (stock) is not.
How do the Tamiya rubber compare to other brands.
Thanks

Personally I like the HPI soft front and medium rear combo. Seems to work good on our asphalt which I would guess is about medium grip.

Last Sunday the first round of a 4 meeting F1 series kicked off in Melbourne, Australia. A full meeting report can be found here.
The FGX is gaining popularity in Australia and we've recently added a detailed guide to the FGX and a build blog on the F1-09.

Got the rear Exotek arms, running them with Alum bulkhead and Alum rear toe mount and they have LOTS of front to rear play, even with the included shims. I added a 1 mm shim on each arm, is this normal?

Looks sharp Calvin
Ooh, nice! Game changer I hope. I've tried the new Ride sedan tires. Good but not as good as a Sorex. Actually a Sorex F1 tire would be the true game changer
