Super soft front and soft or medium rear, but it will still push. The Ride tires are not really good on carpet and are extremely hard. I run the Pit grooved tires on carpet.

Also try raising your rear ride height to approx 10mm and keep front at approx 4 or 5mm. I also run 700wt oil in the diff.

Here is what UF1, powers that be, recommended to me!
upgrade to ball diff with ceramic bearings(imho the best upgrade you can make)
2000wt in shocks next to softest springs and soft swaybars (my choice here)

rear suspension:
10.5mm droop from flat surface to center of lower outer hinge pin.
5 mm rear ride height

Tires. Pit Shimizu med front full insert
Soft rear with shaved insert with air gap

Front suspension soft or medium springs
-2mm front and rear camber.
2* tow out.
all the caster you can dial in iv heard of 6 to 8 degres caster.(my choice)
set your throttle to 80% until you get the feel of it then set at max.
This should get you going, make adjustments from here.
(the ball diff and rear droop helped me the most)
have fun

+1 Im questioning the 10mm of ride height and the 10.5 mm of droop. Seems too excessive for me. Maybe covering for other set up issues?

Granted I'm on carpet but 6mm rear with 2 to 3 droop and 4-5mm ride height up front has worked extremely well for me. I have 1 mm of anti squat and the soft sway bar. Maybe the 10mm height and 10.5 droop are making up for not having anti squat resulting in a more aggressive front to rear weight shift?

That sounds about right .. most of the cars I race with are running the stock bulk heads which has NO anti squat adjustment ..

I run my fgx like it on asphalt and all I can say is wow!
The thing steers like a touring car
I do use stock bulkheads.
My car is the fastest at my local track and I'm beating dd cars.
The closet car to me is a lap down on me

Wow. maybe I will Jack the ride height up and let the arms fall. Can't hurt to try. Great discovery guys. I won't be able to try it for a week but I will give it a run. I am running the aluminium bulkhead so I will pull the anti squat shims and experiment a little.
