Nothing really, 104 knuckles and then SLIGHTLY clearance the lower arm (only grind to the ridge!) extensions are not needed and for some reason i think it drives better without them!

hay mantis, was that you who put the pit tires on the fgx wheel? if so how did you do it?

Yes gut out the inside of the foam wheels and slide over the FGX wheels.

For the front just use 104 knuckles and wheels/tires

have you compared the hpi tires to the pit tires? if so how different are the two or are they close to the same lap times? thanks

Hello I have run both pit shimizu and HPI tires on the same day on low grip asphalt (very dusty) temperature around 25C

Pit tires were Medium on front and Soft on back.
HPi tires were Medium on front and Medium on back.

I found that the car was slightly oversteering on Pit tires and understeering with the HPI tires.

So with these configuration, the car was a lot easier to drive with hpi tires but I was a lot faster with Pit tires.
Best lap with HPI around 27s per lap
Best lap with pit around 25s per lap.

Have not tried HPI soft on front yet but it might improve performance on HPI tires.

On my side I would be interested to know how the Ride tires perform.

I think he is referring to the grooved pit tires. The PIT 0571 are the best tire out there at least around here it is the go to tire for DD cars and for good reason! they work better than the HPI and PIT grooved tires.
