If he's getting sued over them(just assuming he is)...he may as well have the copyright for them...LMAO!

that new losi looks awesome...totally new design...whether they go molded or woven chassis i'm sure it will be fast.

as for the photo's...i'm sure everyone 'right-clicked' and saved them anyway...so someone will always be reposting them somewhere...on this forum or another. it will be hard to keep them off the internet.

Registration is Protection: Although all work is copyrighted at the moment of creation, not all work is protected equally. If a registered work is later infringed, the creator can recover actual damages (the fee that would normally have been paid for the use), as well as Statutory (Punitive) Damages and legal fees. A work that is infringed and has not been registered, can only generate the Actual Damages. This means that, in most cases, the cost of the suit far exceeds the recoverable moneys.

The one exception to the above is work that has been infringed within 90 days of first publication. In this case, it is still possible to register and have access to Statutory Damages and Legal Fees. If you are in this position, you need to register immediately.

How to Register: The procedure for submitting work to the copyright office varies according to several factors. Unpublished work is the easiest to register, and affords the most bulletproof registration. Work that has been published must be submitted in a format determined by the date of its publication, which is roughly divided into four categories. The first is work that has been published within the last 90 days: the second is work published after 1989, third, work published between 1978 and 1989, and finally, work published prior to 1978. Each of these categories has a set of rules governing the format of submission, or "Deposit". They are outlined below.

Contact the Copyright Office: The United States Copyright Office is there to help you. The phone number for public assistance in preparation of copyright submissions is 202-707-3000

So.. back to the neat-O features.....

Looks like this may be one of the most adjustable cars going.

looks to be low/mid/high mounts for the towers

possible long/short arm sets (looks like there is room not only for the arm, but on the pivot support)

cener one way

possibly a reversable battery tray for battery placement

is there a way to lock out the new front diff to make it a spool?

with the inner hing pin track so wide, the car probably has a wicked good roll center... possibly no more traction rolls on super high bite carpet?

I would love to see some verticle mount ballstuds on the towers.. possibly the aftermarket will provide this.. skipgear had a piece for the XXX buggy which made it verticle mount.

I bet the chassis cutouts on the production model will be more elaborate.

the car probably breaths a lot easier than a molded car

the car probably doesnt change with heat due to the materials

i can see enduro races in the future due to the brushless systems and the quick change battery tray.

From what I am seeing, the torque steer should be counteracted by the belts being on opposite sides. Kind of like counter balances. I'm still wondering if there will be some sort of cover for the open drivetrain/more rigidity because it looks like there might be provisions for it as well as diff covers. The car looks pretty flexible as it is. Good or bad?? I'm not sure I'm sold on the eccentric tensioning, simply because it limits you on adjustment. With regular tensioning you can actually tighten the belt in spots that would be finer than the slots they give you. And what happens when your usual adjustment slot gets too warn?? How long will it last? Probably minor though. VLA possible here guys as on the BK2 and the MF2?

Greetings everyone,

I spent the day at speedworld yesterday, It was just Matt Francis a friend of mine and me. I had a chance to see the new losi car up close and talk to matt about the design. the car was 90 percent production. Matt said the chassis would be graphite, not molded. The car handled great from what I could see. This car is top-notch in every respect.

Komkit,
I didn't not post them. On page 3 of this thread, somebody posted a link to an Aussie site. I just linked to it. I was going to host the images on my own website but you didn't give me permission and I respected that.
