What would you guys gear at for 19 turn? 39-41?

It's in the diff tube. You'll see the diff screw on the same side as the diff pulley. It's on page 5 step B-03 in the manual.

I have a feeling he did not get the manual with the car since he bought it used.

tired the setup on the track which was unprepared and dusty. first thing i did was stirp the spur (it was bad to start with), so i had to drive the track with no brakes. off power turn in was ok since i could not really slow the car down too much for the hair pins. my main prob was from the apex-out. i just could not get on the accel until the car was just about striaght. it would oversteer really bad and even swap ends. i took off the rear sway bar, nothing changed. i went down to 17.5 rear. little better but not much. thenm i loosen the reardiff about half way between tight and full loose and it mad a huge difference. the car was driveable off of corners. however im still not accel from the apex out, i still have to be off power coming out of the apex till the car straightens up. it looks really slow, very slow in terms of cornering speed in hair pins. or maybe it my driving?

the car is great everywhere else. may be a little push but ill see if its that or just because i was not using brakes

ya got me,, i didnt get the manual, and thanks for the help. I did get it used but this thing looks brand new.. anyway. to get the manual i downloaded the pdf files from the losi website. waiting on my check this week so i can buy some batteries cuz my shot gun style batteries wont work. gonna go to the LHS and see if the orion LIPO works if not then guess its just side by side packs..

Lipo will not fit in this car w/o serious modification and it is not worth it. You may get a soft cell one to work but then you have the issue as to whether the track you race will allow it. Either get NimH batteries or sell it to buy a Type R if you want to run Lipo.

Do you guys normally run the ball stud on the steering knuckles pointing down or up? Also how much bump steer do you usually run?

They will be screwed in from the top, i usually use 2 or 3 #4 washers for bump...i like it to slightly toe out on compresion.

This question has probley already been asked but I'm going to ask it any way. I got a Novak GTB and tried to run a 4.5 but I can't get a small enough pinion on without it rubbing against the pulley to get the right gear ratio. Then I tried running a 13.5, but then I couldn't get a big enough pinion on without it rubbing against the servo horn. Does anyone else run the original JRXS with brushless?

u tried a different spur combo to get the gearing u are lookin for? i run a Mamba Max 6900 128/31
