thanks again pookyt for the help, and thanks for the compliment.

got another question for you. i know there a way to lift the diff higher on the chassis, my question is when i did this i noticed the belt got tighter, pretty tight actually but there is movement on the belt. is that normal or did i have to do something else so the belt would not tighten up the way it did.

lastly, again newbie jrxs owner here, how do you loosen and tighten the tension on the belts, if you can that is.?

You do the belt tension and diff height all with the same method. It is by turning the Diff housing that allows you to do the height as well as belt tension.

No not w/o distroying the car in the process. If you want a Losi and Lipo, get a Type R. It even comes with a special Lipo tray in the kit.

Also what other servo horn will work for JR servo on the JRXS? the ones that comes supplied with the servo are too short and bump into the servo case.

Just get yourself the steering rack assembly from your LHS for it as all the kit servo horns on if for the differnent servos. This is the part number: LOSA1543 .

so even with the larger battery tray that the jrxs comes with, the orion platinum LIPO will not fit?? i seriously hope it does cuz that limits the jrxs to only a 6 cell side by side battery. im just going to have to go to the hobby shop and see if it does.

don't go with the 6000 i hear it wont fit but maxamp says it will

i guess my only option is go to the hobby shop an see what LIPO will fit. or else im stuck running 6 cell side by side packs. Argg ,what a turn off that is, i have a bunch of 6 cell packs just not side by side, i dont want to buy anymore NIMH batteries.

I haven't seen one, but just run rubber. Those foams are gonna be gone pretty quick on that surface. Just use the Numan set-up that you where talking about earlier.

You should have enquired about this before you bought the car in the first place. The larger battery tray was for the 38-4200 NimH cells. This car was never intended to have Lipo fit it. As Tom said you may get a soft cell one to fit but most tracks may want you to have a hard case around it which then you will not get it to fit. It is not a Lipo car so you may want to think about selling it or getting more NimH cells to run in it.
