Hi,
Does anyone have a setup that they would like to share for stock racing on a low grip, rough ashphalt track. I have tried the numan setup but this doesn't seem grippy enough for my track. Would anyone recommend the Hubert Honigl or the Matt Francis setup? I have set my car back to stock settings exept i have the spool in the front now. I might just use that and work from there.

Hey TC, I have used the Hubert Honigl setup, although my track is relatively smooth, it seems to work fairly well, I am going to tinkerwith it some, but it seems to be a starting point for me

Well now I am desperate. Is anyone out there willing to sell me just one set of the new front arms for the JRX-S? I am unable to race the car now and the arms have been on back order for...well.... since the Holloween classic at the Gate.

Please LMK.

Thanks!

You can go to jrxs.com and get a set of BK/TH brackets to use with your original arms until the others become availe. Contact 5thscaleracer over there, $10.00 +shipping. A bit of a stopgap measure but he has them in stock.

Losi nut, Hi, I do have some old brackets but I don't even have old arms to bring back into sevice. I knew I would be in trouble two months ago and I broke the last Right front I had yesterday.

Thanks.

AND Thanks to all those who have PM'd me already with possible leads!

Hey guys just wondering does anyone know how far the shock collars should be screwed down on the stock setup for the front and back?

Thanks

Only until you achieve the desired ride height, most setups call for 5mm ride height

Default Setup for Stock Low/Med grip ozite

Hi guys

Whats the current setup for low to medium bite ozite carpet running Stock?

Last time I checked, Todd H was toying with the roll center blocks and may have raised the front and had better performance.

Please post a setup sheet

Thanks

You will probably be best off with the blocks in a low position all around, maybe adding shims under them to try stuff, full high is a bit drastic.

Hi all,
I got a JRXS and im gonna have my first race with it on the weekend. I just wanted to know will kit setup with a oneway center pulley be a good starting point for stock racing. Will the oneway center pulley disturb the kit settings so that i might have to change a setting somewhere else?
Also my brother has been running a JRXS and he has had problems with the car being a bit taily. If i encounter the same problems with my setup what should i be looking at changing first?

Thankyou

It's a good starting point, you may want to modify your set up later on though as you get better and want to go faster, etc.

My fears have finally come true - broke one of my BK front arms last night and now I'm running my last pair of stock arms. If I break one of these ... that's it ... I'm just another spectator.

Any news on the backorder situation for the front arms? Will we really see them at the end of this month as posted on Horizon? Todd, any insight?

Thanks.
