Dan--Just the PRS aluminum gear adapter and the suspension blocks by Losi that I know of.

tom235 - Yes, that is the setup I am talking about. Except I ran stock front shock tower and camber link (no JR link), and standard Losi hexs on the rear wheels. Go ahead and give Mike's setup a try. Its good. Almost good enough for me to forget about the Type R release being delayed.

Juan / Tom235 I have run my rubber car at an event since Vegas a few weeks ago....made a few changes to suit rather high traction....

I ended up ditching the rear sway bar, and just using the regular bk lower hole on the arm, as well as the #4 camber link spot up front...similar to the stock middle hole. Also the rear diff low.

It proved to be much easier to drive, and much more stable / predictable....i am not sure how it will work on lower bite though, so yo could try it if your looking for a little more on the track.

did numan setup use antidrive?? (2 shims on the front block)? cause i think while i was rebuilding my car, i did something wrong, it has 2 shims on the front suspension block both front and back , and when i put back the a arms, i could not get a play. it will hit the outdrive. . is there something wrong?

Wil--make sure you have the blocks in their high position. Yes the Numan set-up calls for 2 thick shims under both the front blocks. couble check it and let us know.

Pookyt, thanks fo rthe clarification last night on how this stuff works. I looked at the car today and honestly don't have any idea how I did as well as I have done with it. It was so not the right as far as the roll centers, front and rear!! Now that I have the insight with what you provided me with, I shall make it right and see what happens this weekend. Hell, I may find a renewed love for this car!!

I don't care how renewed your love for the car is...you're not getting the one you sold me back...nope, not going to happen.

She's been completely rebuilt and had the chassis re-sanded and sealed.

I don't want that car back for I only want one of the old cars and one of the new ones if it ever comes out. I have plans to keep the old car for rubber and the new one for foam. Hell, I probably had that car setup wrong too since I had the same setup on both. So it is a good thing you went over it anyhow.

I wouldn't know if the setup was jacked or not. When I received it, it was immediately torn down to nothing, cleaned and rebuilt.

I've decided (for now) not to mess with the Type R. This car is really good and I really don't plan on running much TC as 12th is my main class.

Actually there was one thing that was SUPER jacked up on the car you sent. The lower shock mounts (on the shock shaft) were different lengths. It messed up all kinds of things and made it difficult to setup.

They were cut for the Numan setup which was needed to get the height right for the other mount on the arm. I know I was sloppy about that but if you are running a carpet foam setup then yes they would not have worked for you.

I have seen on many peoples JRX-S's on the upper decks there is the countersunk screws with the little circle countersunk washers. What length screws do you use and what size countersunk washers do you use?

They look cool so i was thinking of doing it to my car to.

Thanks
