Default IIC Setup

Pretty standard setup I think...one thing that I don't normally run is the high front diff which was suggest by Hodge and seemed to give the car more steering.

Default JRXS TYPE R

Well, I am back from one of the greatest races hosted by Scotty E. in Las Vegas, the International .Indoor .Championships. With over 550 entries and world class drivers from all around the world it makes it one of the most prestegious and largest on-road races in the world. My hats off to Scotty and the crew at the I.I.C, as they did an excellent job. The hotel was first class with plenty of entertainment so you or your significant other wouldn't have to leave the hotel for extra activities. It is just an awsome race... I am already looking forward to next year event.

Now, back to the subject of the New Sedan from Losi. I would have to say I am very pleased on how the team has advanced with this new car from the last time I ran this car almost 2&1/2 years ago. There has obviously been lots of hard work and dedication to make this car the way it is now. I would like to personally thank and congradulate Todd H, Paul C, Andrew G and many others whom have helped in the development of this new innovative car. The new car is just incredible to work on and race compaired to the older version JRXS.

With that said I am assuming that all of you whom have been loyal and very paitient with losi, your wait is definately worth it. When the car is released and purchased by the consumers I am sure they will be very happy with the end result as I was with the first race with the car being the I.I.C.

Hi guys i'm not sure if this has been done yet or what but i have been experimenting with putting a motor heatsink on my jrx-s. I used a tamiya heatsink that i had lying around and modified it a bit. I managed to get it on but i had to cut about 5 fins off it. i have some pics and it sows you haw it sits and how i modified it.

Note- it depends on what gear ratio you are running because the motor can't be to close to the centre shaft.

LOL Yea if I can hang on to it it must be good!!!

I ran the exact set-up today on our asphalt track and in the begining it was pretty good but a lil twitchy and a bit aggressive. It was very nice to be driving a one-way though and I turned the fastest laps of the day. I didn't get a chance to finish hte mains as the shopping centers sprinklers turned on and we had to call a "rain-out"!! LMAO As the day went on the rear end was loose so I went to the non offset rear hubs and it was dialed in round two. Round three and the rear end again was loose but it was due to a rear tire coming partially unglued. Our track is pretty big and flowing compared to Vegas. In two weeks I will go back to my originall "Numan" type set-up and compare the two. I really think Mikes set-up with smaller pistons and about 5 wt. heavier rear oil will still be fast on our outdoor track. Thanks again Mike!

I was glad to be on high bite carpet again today, my car had a small lift in round 1 and 2, but i fixed the problem in 3 and my car was dailed in big time. I love traction, why didnt vages have any for me...LOL....it would have if we ran for....2 WEEKS
