It doesn't appear that Mark has the same CVs on his car as Matt had yesterday.

What's the word on these "protoype" cvd's? Will they make it into the production kit or be offered as a hop-up?

Gearhead3: cool!

Can't wait to see it. Personally I don't really care how long it takes, I just would like to see it happening.

Default JRX-S Battery removal and installation

Ok well i have seen alot of people wondering about how the battery is removed and installed in the Losi JRX-S. Some even saying it would take too long. Well here is video to show that it really does not take that long to put the battery in.

Personally I don't understand all the concern anyway. At a track with any real turnout, your going to have at least....AT LEAST....an hour between rounds.

So whats the problem??????

Oh yeah, you want to get your battery off the charger at just the right time, into the car, and onto the grid as quick as possible to avoid losing that all important early voltage 'kick'.

Well from what I've seen, pretty much all tracks, even at the big events take quite a few seconds to get everyone on the stand, lined up on the grid, and started. So whatever extra voltage people are hoping to get by waiting till the last second to get the pack into the car, is all but gone by the time the race is actually started!

So your right back at where you started. AT LEAST an hour before your next race. So if you can't get the pack in the car by then, theres always other, slower hobbies, like needle point or something!

most of the drivers will use the JRX-S. Cause at the Worlds there was 20 new Losi cars there. I only saw 2 XXX-S cars at the Worlds. Every Team driver will have one. Unless he feals he likes the XXX-S better.

The thing i dont get about the battery situation. Is that when u put the battery and if the battery touches the carbon fiber wont it short out the battery? Or is that just graphite?

If you're concearned about how long it takes to change a battery compared to the handling advatage you may gain with a certian design, you're not ready for a top level race car.

Just my $.02
