Does that Jackson Airport take anything bigger than Cessnas?

I'll just save up for the BIG races amigo...like Vegas.

Besides, have two weeks set aside for Mediterranean cruise...You know "two weeks".

i did quite a bit of testing with different front and rear axles today. here's what i noticed:

front LCD's seemed to definitely have more steering than CVD's. the track today was a little dusty and not as high bite as usual. CVD's were actually faster for me since the front end stayed a little "flatter", where the LCD's allowed a lot of body roll. if the track was grippier i think LCD's would have been much quicker.

rear CVD's with roller bearings on the pins were interesting. the car felt quite a bit looser in the rear with a lot more body roll. i probably won't run those again.

anyone else notice similar results? or am i the only fool running front CVD's?

Russ- I've heard of people running CVD's in the front for stock foam racing since they're lighter and you don't need any extra steering in that class.

The bearing rear drives do alow for more body roll and a slightly loose rear end. They do not have the friction that the standard pins in the outdrives have. The same goes for the fronts. The more friction your drive shafts have the flatter that end of the suspension will be. If you think the freeness is too much then you can compensate by a small chassis change in roll center blocks or camber links. Personally, I prefer to have too much and then tune it out than to get into a circumstance where I need more but cannot get it. Hope this makes sense! LOL It sounded better in my head than when I typed it!!
