Default Scales?

Ok, so I've never balanced / checked tweak with scales. I've used the xacto method. A fellow racer had a 4 scale setup, and I threw my JRXS on the scales, to see how I've done.

I was truly suprised that I was within 2 grams for both tweak weights (left front / right rear and right front left rear). I was then a little disappointed when it was pointed out that my left to right and front to rear balance was nowhere near close. And I spent the better of two hours after the race playing around with weights and the electronics and I didn't get much better.

So, is it really important to balance a JRXS in all dimensions on scales? Or is tweak good enough?

I would kindly ask that whoever is the moderator of this forum sanction or ban bxpitbull from posting his obnoxious thoughts on this forum. I think that I speak for all the rest of us in saying "enough is enough already!"

That's what the "Report" function is for............................Click the "Report" above his post to leave a message to the moderator about it.

I agree that it does not appear to be appropriate for this forum...

Yeah, I had parts for him but they were the only ones in town and I was afraid as soon as I gave them to him I would break and need them myself!! I was a friend up till that point then I guess somewhat of a prick!!

You could have loaned them with the understanding that if you needed them he had to give them back. Uh.........unless of course...........he broke the same parts again. Thought you had two cars anyways? LOL

Anyone know if the new diff housings will fit onto the JRX-S as I like the idea of being able to take the diffs out with 4 screws
Cheers Malc THE CAN MAN

PS I just won 2 more JRX-S's off ebay with a bundle of spares, and guess what....One has CCF on it

Malc--I don't know about the housings but the new shorter diffs and longer drive shafts will fit. I'm excited about puting these new diff parts in my JRXS as its supposed to help free up some corner speed!! Yippy!!!!
