Pookyt, when you are talking about the shims for roll centers, do you mean under the front and rear pivots of the front or rear end, or just under the degree pivot? (long bar versus small pivot block)

JF, what is O/S hub versus standard hub?

Thanks, JW.

I normally run the same number of shims under both the bars and the small blocks. If I have 2 under the bar , I will have 2 under the block as well.

The O/S hubs stand for Off Set. They are primarilly used for carpet to help the rear end rotate more in the turns. They are also what you use in the inside hole on the rear arms. Hope this helps man

OK, so the O/S stands for offset, then the stock would be 0 degrees? And what is the offset on the O/S hub? Yes, its all helping and thanks very much. JW

Still looking for the Weiss setup, anyone?

Thanks for the hub info guys, i have always run offset for everything, and always all the toe in the hubs, maybe thats what my car lacks outdoors

Well.......not really. I look at it in the rear more as roll. In the rear the closer I get to having the hinge pins closer to the chassis, the harder the rear end wants to come around in the turns. As I raise up the rear hinge pins, this helps to keep the rear end under more control. On the front as I get the hinge pins closer to the chassis, the front of the car gets more aggressive.

The key is to balance the two. I hope this helps.

Johnny,
The standard Hubs are available in 0, , 1, 2 degs rear toe-in.
The Off-set Hubs are also available in 0, , 1, 2 degs rear toe-in.

The only difference between the Standard and the Off-set is where they are mounted on the arm and the Off-set Hubs have an extended bearing housing to maintain the overall track wide of the car.
The Losi rear arms have two sets of hinge pin holes for the two types of rear Hubs. The standard hub needs to be mounted in the outer hinge pin hole on the arm. The Off-set Hub needs to be mounted in the inner hinge pin hole on the arm.

Hope this helps,
Regards,
Peter

Was also at West London yesterday and very nearly TQ'd, but motor went a tad soft in the last 30 seconds as I did not have the brushes that I wanted to use and used F, Lines in my T,S, Atlas, The tyres were awsome, they did not fade at all, and it was megga hot, was well impressed with them but then I have done what NO one else has done to them!!!!! and its not cheating before anyone jumps up and down Just ask and I will reveal, some of the dudes already know, as I told them at the track yesterday, so im not keeping it hush hush, coz im not that sort of guy
