There's a nice pic (#51) of a JRXS on the TQ Hobbies site. Look in their slide show pics of the IFMARS...not sure who's car it is though.

Hey guys I'll be posting some pictures of the Worlds soon. I just have to get them up-loaded onto my computer. I also have a nice pic of the new losi, and I believe Mark Reinhart's Tamiya. I'll post them soon.

Matt Francis should be at Stockton on Wednesday night.

Who wants pictures of what part of the JRX-S?

Default not to change the subject but....

Can someone explain to me Losi's theory behind "All chassis components pinned to prevent tweaking" <-- Direct quote from their site

Frankly, I don't see it. You can pin or bolt or do whatever you want to a chassis, but it would seem to me that the same basic rules apply. If you hit the board just right, your plate style chassis will tweak. I don't see how "pinning" will help.

Honestly, don't you think other companies would have thought of that by now if it really helped that much?

Just curious to see what everybody else thinks of this idea of Losi's.....

the top deck, chassis, and bulkheads are all pinned so they can't possibly shift in a hard impact like other companies cars. if the chassis components are pinned to the bulkheads they are all locked together.

I think it is going to add another fixed point to each corner of the plate.

Will it stop 100% of tweaking? Doubt it. But it will prevent a lot of it.

See, that's what I don't get. I just don't see how pinning is going to prevent any more tweaking than just normal screws. Since there are screws sitting right next to the pins, the chassis will still take and hold a tweak just as easily as any other double deck chassis would.

It's just my opinion, I guess... I could be (and hopefully am) wrong.
