The new diffs are shorter from end to end and they used longer CVD bones for testing. The shorter diffs and longer bones free'd up the driveline during suspension travel and helped increase corner speed. It's all a leverage thing!

Thanks Todd,

............and a big thanks for all of your help too. I had the dominate car all week until the 7th lap in the main. TQ'd/Won the Club race, TQ'd with the 2 fastest runs of the weekend, and had a half a lap on second before she broke.

Oh well better luck next year, but again thanks for all the help.

hope i do not sound ignorant here....

looking at the jrxs, it seems to be heavier than most kits out there....like the xray, tamiya and hotbodies....is this observation true or is it just the same in terms of weight.

Randy-

I currently have 0 inboard (at the inner hinge pin) toe on the front of my car. And I'm looking for a lil more mid-corner steering also.. From what I have been told adding toe at the pin will give me that, but is there anything that it will negate??.

Is I missed the photo? Or the side-servo, mid-rear-motor proto didn't show in Snowbird06?

it does look bulkier then the other but i can assure you that this car is very light...i had to add 50 grams to get my car up to weight

The problem with the steering getting locked is the stop knuckle on the spindles 90% of the time. I've seen it get locked for other reasons but that's the main reason. Losi should adjust the modle to make this knucke bigger or remove it completely.

From what Todd and Paul said, the new diff parts worked great and may make it to production.....................in 2 weeks! lol lol lol

Todd ran his "green" rear motor car, Paul, and Billy ran a similiar version. I did not see any of the "side servo" cars there.

I usually run 0 degrees of front sweep, I have tried 1 and 2, but the only thing I really felt was that it took out some of the turn-in. Testing at SoCal can sometimes give you backwards results though, so you might want to try it on parking lot tracks.
