The reason why the servo is mounted backwards, is so that the steering can work, it is all about saving space to get the motor/cells down the centre. If you look, the steering is slung above the servo, so it all actually takes up less space on the chassis.

I just want to talk a look on how they remove the battery.....
I have no idea how they can hold the battery during the hard race...

Thanks TCR. Man the car looks very well built. I'm love-n the detail of those shocks. Are the new shocks much shorter, than say your humm.......average Ae shocks? They look short anyway.

Yeah, they do look short. I guess short arms only need short shocks!

Anybody notice that it has a knurl at the bottom of the shock. Could this be some kind of rebuildable cartridge like the older design? Looks like a good idea..cuz I disliked rebuilding AE/YOKOMO shocks when I had them.
I wonder if this car design will utilize softer springs being that all the weight is centered and the car won't have as much body roll as others.

Default I'm sure it won't roll as much dasupacat...

but I don't see how it could be 50/50 weight front to back. I thought someone had mentioned it was. The battery looks too far back to be 50/50. I hope Losi makes them shock compatible with other cars as I'm sure they will sell the heck out of them.

Yeah, I noticed. I would guess that they can be built from the bottom or the top. Personally, I hate rebuilding just about ANY shock, so it wont be fun for me either way!

Default body roll...

As a Kyosho KX-1 owner, I can tell you that having the cells down the middle makes a HUGE difference in roll. When set up correctly, the car should have almost zero roll and great stability.

This car should be even better than my KX-1, since Losi managed to get the cells in with a lower center of gravity. That, combined with the short arms, which also reduce roll, should give an very flat ride.
