Went to www.speedzonerc.com I tied for fastest lap in 19-turn, qualified second, but a lot of the big dawgs didn't show up, anyway kept breaking foams tire in the first, third qaulifers and the main so that kept me back. heading to Rcmadness to rumble with heavy hitters, oh ya very underrated car

Default New proto???

I'm surfing on RC50.com for Novak's photo. Something new catch my eye...
http://www.rc50.com/modules.php?name...422&fullsize=1

It apears to be similar with rear motor proto, but the servo is moved away from centerline, to free space for battery/motor to be moved forward. Quite interesting design as I think it probably be more balanced than rear motor proto.

The photo resized and attached, from RC50.com

Hey dawgmeat,

Does Speedzone have parts for the JRXS? I might take a run up there in the next few weeks.

Thanks!

EWWWW!!!!!

I thought the weird servo placement was gone after the Streetweapon!

Unless, this is the start of the Nitro development.... Think about it, the new rear motor placement, yeah it works in electric, but it's freed up alot of room for Nitro equipment!

I have heard that the new proto has been working well in testing, from the pics it looks like both the motor and batteries have been moved forward. The origional rear motor car lifted the rear end up a lot under braking, bascially using all the droop you had. With the motor forward a little more I dont think it will do that anymore.

The servo isnt mounted very high up, not enough to where it would have much negitive effect on the car Im sure.

Hi Randy,

Would the new motor position be about where it was on the XXX-S?

I've only seen that same pic you all are looking at, but I dont think they would have moved the batteries forward more without a good reason to.

Default Novak

Well,, it was one heck of a race.

traction was super high from day one and it made for a LOT of work.

Easton and Francis's cars were pretty good... AG also was in the show.. EA had a good car and nearly put it in the show... Ray Huang and Kelly Bean put their cars in the brushess show.. My car... well.. it was a work in progress and in the 3rd round was "on pace" but then i decided to let every one else have a chance by tapping here.. and then there in the last minute. Rockin the C-main... lead for 2 or 3 min.. and then broke my car.

I learned a bit about the car though. I have some pretty cool ideas that I will be trying out in the next few weeks.

big hand to Jim Hermann and Jeff Dayger
