Don't forget to check the Losi website under JRXS tips and on JRXS.com for the dope on getting that rear battery slot in the chassis opened up enough to handle your packs.

Does everyone run the Losi or Tamiya shocks. I know at one time Todd ran Tamiya shocks.

The new design shocks on the JRXS are just as good or better than any shock on the market. The old ones were a pain in the butt sometimes but the new ones are killer

I think Todd only ran them before the new style Losi shocks were made, I havent seen any JRXS owners using Tamiya shocks.

They definately have the best of all the different designs out there thrown into one shock.

Losi. OK-TRF shocks are awesome too. But the Losi are still a notch ahead on engineering. Threaded shockshafts and friction fit to screw pistons make removing and installing new pistons a breeze. Repeatability of rebuilds is absolutely as good as TRF as well. They just build up easily and the same everytime.

now, how come Losi went to the bladder style anyway... i love the bottom loading shocks... i admit, the new ones are a ton better, but why did they change?

The bladders keep all of the air out of the shock and allow you to tune the shock even more by adding or removing o-rings or sponges from the top of the bladder.
