Ok i have a serious question for you guys...

what are alternative tires to Sorex 36R. the Sorex tires work but there has got to be one that offers a better life and a tad bit more predictable handling. After racing with any of the sorex line tires i have foudn them to be Great after 6 runs after that it gets too gummy and unpredictable. I am forced to use them for 1 race day and store them. I have tons of practice tires but they do me no good.

So let me see what you guys have to say about alternative tires to the 36R.

Thanks for the help guys!!!

I was in a user group session earlier this month for a software product I work on so I can afford to race. The newest release of the software was late and I almost broke out laughing when they said it should be released in two weeks.

I dont know if many of you guys have tried it, but the Steve Weiss setup is really good, I think it's posted on page 48 of the Evicerator thread. I used it today with a 1 way and a few small modifications and it was awesome.

A spool gets around the track really well, but I do think the 1-way has a slight advantage on most the layouts. I mostly always run the double 1-way setup when I do chose to go that route.
