EricF have you tried speedtechrc.com, stormerhobbies.com, kthobbies.com, towerhobbies.com? Other than the $7 shipping fee they should have the parts and speedtech is in California so you could order and recieve before the Southwest Grand Prix. By the way are you running 19-turn Touring and Mod buggy?

Speed Tech and Tower do not carry Losi parts. KT and Stormer are out of stock on the battery tray.

Hey Guys!!!!!! If your local hobby shops have the battery tray or other parts these guys are needing then lets please post the hobby shops name and number so our fellow JRXS racers can get what they need. Thanks

Try the HobbyTown in Omaha Nebraska I am pretty sure they still have one or two in stock along with about every other JRXS part you need. The phone number is 402-498-8888 ask for Tim Ski or Alex Sturgen They will be able help you out.

Pookyt,

Maybe that is a section that could be started on jrxs.com as well. A listing of tracks with large selections of parts, hard to find parts, and contact info?

So which version is the team using more, the front mount motor or the experimental rear mounted motor?

I just had someone pick me up an aluminum tray last week from a track in MD. It is "The Track" also known as Mimi's which is Andrew Gray's home track. I don't know if she has anymore, but the number is (301)417-9630.

Horizon needs to get better at procurement. From what I can tell they wait until something is sold out before they reorder. If you are having problems getting parts simply call them and complain really good. At least you will waste their time a bit like they are wasting yours. Maybe when it hits their bottom line a bit they will finially do something about it.

HERE IS WHERE YOU ARE INCORRECT. Horizon does not wait. What happends is parts are made in batch runs. If the manufacture runs out, sometime they have to wait for sometime before getting another batch of that particular part....(if you out source) You can not really go and blame horizon or Team Losi for not having 100% parts support 100% of the time. It just does not happen in the R/C industry. Be paticent, and your long awaited part will arrive before you know it.
