Allow the suspension to still go up far enough.

Does anyone know what setup Chicky was running at the Halloween Classic? He was running the front motor car, right, in modified? Looks like he did well with it.

Andrew- If you didn't cut the shaft, then why is it sooo short?

J.Filipow - As long as you cut the shock ends down a few mm it's fine, you need to trim them so you can have enough shock uptravel. I've never deemed it necessary to cut the shock shaft, plus that's just more work.

If you just trim the top off of the shock ends and expose a couple of threads, this will let the spring cup move lower so the spring will have more adjustability for ride height. Using the brackets (up and out on the arm) creates a shorter distance from the mounting hole to the shock tower hole. Hope this helps too.

Has anybody else tried the front camber mod yet? If so what did you think?

I've been running it for a couple racedays now, it helps out a lot on the front tire wear. I was running it with the low camber link mount on the shock tower, but went to the middle hole there, and also put .030 anti-dive in the car trying to get the turn-in to feel more like the stock link.
