I like the fact that they beefed up the front body posts and added the 5th one. Now the roof/windshield won't be able to cave in during flips...less cracks around the upper wheel wells too.
I wonder if those new shocks will be a bladder type and not an emulsion like the AE

If they're askin' that much for the car. You'd think it will be molded graphite parts if they're gonna include titanium turnbuckles, tit. nitride coated pins, and shock shafts.
They do with the BK2, MF2, XXX4G+, and the new AD2.

I don't know if anybody has posted about this, but it seems like it would be difficult to do dirrect soldering with the batteries tucked in like they are without hitting the top plate or the belt with your iron.

From looking at the pics of the new shocks they look like they have a collar with a screw for adjustment. Please someone tell me I am WRONG and the new shocks are threaded!! Please!

Listen....the street price is $349.99......Horizon owns Losi and its one of their exclusive brands, so they use minimum advertised price(MAP) on them (they do it with some dynamite stuff, JR Radio, etc).

The retail is $539.99

So while it won't be unheard of to find someone who might sell you one cheaper, you will never see a mail order company or a store with it for sale for any less, as they would lose their Horizon account.

And you certainly will not find one for $100 cheaper than that, that would be below cost.

The car actually costs(dealer cost) no more than the TC4 does, however....Losi uses their MAP on it to help hobby shops actually make some money without worries of the mailorder companies undercutting them.
