I dig the lack of color but after 13 or 14 yrs of colored springs it did take a lil to get used to. The tags have not been any problem from the word go. I kept it in the back of my mind that if the tags were an issue I was going to stripe or coat one or two of the coils for a reference. Uhhhhhh.........sorry to ramble........I like them as they are. Hows that?

hey guys i am going to try to get an answer everybody seems to be worried about the color of springs. i just got a jrxs and was wondering what do i need to do to it for carpet racing, what are these pooky things or bk brackets are they for the rear shocks, and has anyone cut every other tooth off the belts for less resistance. any set up tips for carpet or tips on this car would be appreciated. i read this car is loose in the rear end is that true. thank you all. later. oh does anyone know how this car compares to the xray 04

For club racing I start my tires at 2.28in and for bigger events or higher traction I start at 2.23in and run down to 2.19in.

I like the black springs it takes me less time to strip them now.....I dont like having all the rainbow colors on my car...lol.

The spring's labels are fine,at first they reminded me of someone walking around with the tag on their shirt hanging out

Default color cordination

I like the black springs a lot better.
I dont use the tags, so for those people who dont like the tags, here's an idea, you could paint 1 bar on the spring different colors like the traxxas revo springs

Just like to thank the regular guys on this thread for the help and information you have put up. Especially Todd for his contribution to this forum.

Today at my State Championship, I managed to qualify third, and finished forth in the Modified A Final.

At Australia's level, it was a very competitive field, and the JRX-S worked very well.

I ran the Josh Neumen (new) setup, DC Motorsport IB3800, and Checkpoint motors (7x1).

Thanks guys...
Regards,
Peter
