I just used a micrometer & then labled all mine in the pit box just in case. There are 2 that appear to be the same wire size but the coils are different on them.

Hi Rick

I was thinking of the same thing about measurements. Can you post your results?

Thanks

OBTW

I lost a 60lb label the other night. It must have came undone after adjusting the rideheight

I talked to Jr at the worlds and he said that the powder coating altered the spring rate a little and made them sometimes vary too much according to the thickness tolerance of the coating, etc.....Plus imo the black just looks a little more serious and keeps racers from singing carny toones at the track!....LOL, Jim

Thanks for doing that Rick. I just measured mine too and came up with similar numbers minus about .001. And the 10.5lb springs were .045" by my calipers. Will be cutting this out and taping it inside my parts box.

Default JRXS TC Springs

What are your feelings on the way we made the TC springs? Usually we would powder coat the springs however with the inconsistencies of powder coating we did something different this. I am curious to hear your thoughts on this.

Todd - I like the new springs WITHOUT the traditional color coat, soaking springs in "Zip" is a thing of the past...haha I also like that you scaled down the orverall size of the shock as well. Hopefully, Losi will be producing all new springs and shocks for off-road!

Default Springs

The labels are OK but a minor nusance.

FYI...My real race car springs just had a painted stripe on them to tell them apart.

Ready for Las Vegas? Will you drive the new car layout?
