If I get the alloy battery holder for the 3700s etc will 3300s be too loose in the car if I use the same holder?

Thanks

No it will be fine, I run them on both of my cars and use 33's up to 38's with no issue at all.

How much were the old XXX-S springs? From memory I think they were roughly the same price, $2.95..... I've heard this before and don't believe this is valid reason for not colouring them. Heaven help us all if the stickers come off in our pit-box and the springs get mixed up

Has anyone had any trouble with the stickers coming away? What do you do to keep them on?

I prefer colours over the stickers......

In the early days of the JRX2 buggy we used to paint the springs to match our bodies. This was before they started the powder coat thing. For a small fee I will paint your springs for you! LOL

PookyT, I got your brackets yesterday, and they look good. I was wondering, do you have any pics or links as to how they are installed. I was wondering if the lip goes on top or bottom of the arm. Thanks again.

The lip goes under the arms on the brackets.

The lip does go under the arm and the smaller or cut down brackets are for the rear arms. Also, try to use button head screws for the arm and the shock so you have plenty of clearance. Glad you got them too.

Nope, the 70mph winds never made it, 40-50 maybe, and a bunch of lightening and rain. It felt like the spring we didn't have this year. LOL

Yall get anything?

I believe it was Gil Jr that told me that painting the springs was varying their spring rates too much.

Was going to use a micrometer to measure the coil of all my springs; but, so far, the tags have stayed in place. I'm not worried.

All of my spring tags have held as well this season. Plus each set of springs has an extra set of stickers just in case you need them.
