I just boughta Futaba 9451 servo for my just byilt Jrx-s. How many of yo use a sero saver? Don't want to ruin it. The kit doesn't include one like the xxx-s did.

Thumbs up I do.

I run the small Kimbrough black servo saver. It is tight but it does work.

Dasupacat1 - I use a Futaba 9451 servo as well, I don't use a servo saver, just the plastic servo arm incluced with the servo. I have never broken one of these, they are really tough. I prefer it over the KO and Airtronics, both of which I have stripped out before.

I run a "mid-size" Kimbrough black servo saver on the JRX-S. Use the small sized ones on my 1/12th scale cars.

I was wondering if you would email me your foam carpet setup? I read earlier that it was pretty dialed. I would like to compare it to what I have been running. Thank you. Email to [email protected]

Default Battery Install

I finally got everything assembled and was getting ready to install the electronics when I discovered my GP3300 pack from ProMatch does not fit. I cannot close the battery door. It seems the rearmost cell is hitting the rear bulkheads where the cell should be below the rounded area of the bulkhead. It seems like the cells sit in the tray correctly but once they are installed in the chassis, it seems the pack is too long.

Here are some pics

Thanks

That rearmost cell appears to be sitting too high in the picture. Doesn't look as though you have filed (or dremeled) away the cradle that the rear cell has to rest in.

See the Battery Slot note and picture depicted at the right side of Step A-01 instruction on Page 1 of the manual. Bottom of this cell MUST be flush with the bottom of the Chassis plate.

No, I said Step A-01...Geeze, doesn't anyone listen anymore...

Actually, one other tip is to go through the entire manual again and check things again. As I remember, I missed two of the finer points while putting my first JRX-S together. RTM, RTM, RTM...
