Ok.....Then lets no say anything to Barry, so it will be a suprise.

I'll stop wasting this thread space so we can get back to the topic. Just had to mess around a little.

Any one know the part#'s for the Ti ball studs, long and short, for the spindles? Tried to find them on Losi's site, but came up with nothing. Thanks.

I am currently using Numan's Reedy setup for rubber on carpet too. Best thing for me with rubber on carpet so far.

Only problem is that our Stockton track is switching us to foams for Expert Stock and 19T. Have to start over with foams; but, Todd already suggested his US Indoor Champs (11/28/04) carpet setup as a start. Gotta go with the master!

Evicerator

Looking over your setup, I got a question:

When you say bellcranks back .150 - do you mean from the original holes to the rear of the car?

thanx in advance

That's right (for Evicerator)...he, he...

He drills the holes .15" behind (to rear of car) the originals.

Default Set-Up Question

Will someone tell me what effect raising the front roll center with .500 has on the cars handling?

Also is using low roll center in rear a pre-requisite to raising the front?

One more, What is the benifit of running a low roll center in rear, it seems like this would make the car kick out in rear.

Just trying to understand basics.

Thanks

on the BK brackets is it normal to dremel the inside of the wheel a little bit?

I ran my JRXS this weekend for the first time, and it was awesome from the first time it hit the track. I even bought the wrong tires for the race and it was still hooked up, nobody could believe it.

With the motor mounted towards the front of the car having the front roll center higher helps keep the front end very reactive and have steering. By having the rear roll center low you are making the car rotate over the rear end and not the front end. This makes for a car that is easy to drive and fast. I hope that helps.
