Todd, what do you think about the 41t pulley for carpet racing in general? I have heard it improves acceleration out of the corner, is this true? Thanks

Rob the 41 tooth pulley gives you more steering everywhere except in tight 180 deg. turns. so yes it pulls you out of the turn.

sorry i'm not todd

Looking at Josh Numan's setup for Asphalt (Tarmac over here...) it says he uses the 41 tooth pulley with the spool. Surely the spool has enough steering as it is?

Sorry for asking, but, How many layers of shrink wrap is everybody running with GP3700's and the new tray? They come from the factory with 2. 1 color layer and 1 clear. Are we removing any or adding any?

Thanks!

JRXS Bill & JRXS Chris: The clips are for a lexan motor scoop made by Ride. I'll try to post a pic soon, I live in a tropical country and max cooling is very important. I use a scoop together with the fans.

ALB--I have been running the factory and clear on mine with the stock Dremeled out tray and now with the Aluminum one. They fit just fine in the newer aluminum tray with out any mods. Hope this helps.

Do you mean the 41t in the front or all the way around? In the front it should give you more onpower steering giving the feel of more accelleration.

Chris, I am racing down here in Devon and Cornwall. I went out this last weekend on the tarmac this for the 3rd time this season and the first time running the Numan setup. Came out of the day with TQ, 1st in both mains and a new track record... So yes the setup can work well over here...The setup seems to be pretty aggressive the way I like, and has alot of corner speed.
