Red face Setup Help for new racer

Hi all, I decided I needed a hobby, so off I went to the hobby shop and left with the Losi JRX-S I found a club near me that runs foam tyres on Asphalt. Here's a link to there www page which also has pictures of the track. http://www.geocities.com/ryperraceway/
Most people there run Xrays so I havenít been able to get much set up help. Which brings me to my first question? Could someone please give me a setup for this track using foam tyres? Or at least a good starting point from where I can play with.

Cheers all,

Rob

Don't know if you have seen this yet, but you might want to check out the Team Losi Website.....it's foams on carpet though.

Foam on Carpet Setups

Don't know if that's helped or not. All the best mate.

Mass--I have been told to use the carpet set-ups( Losi and JRXS.com web sites) and that you may want to lower the spring and oil rates just a tad. This should get you close starting out on foams on the asphalt. Good Luck and let us know how it works.

Just shoot him a pm and he'll get them to you asap (as long as he has them in stock).

I bought a set and they got to me in less than 9 days via snail mail. (I live in Australia)

LOL Its going but I have to admit my safety record has been broken. It has now been 1 day since a " No loss time injury" record has reset! Those fiber reinforced cut off wheels make cleaner cuts than a fresh X-Acto blade. No worries tho, a little CA glue, some Kicker, and a day off have worked wonders.

Thanks guys, but after reading up on foam tyres I think im going to stick with rubber. Foam just seems to be way more complicated. i dont fancy changing setups everytime the tyres wear.
