I found the pads will loosen off after several runs. I fixed this by dremelling the diff rings with 12 small dished spots so the diff balls would locate in them. Then just tight it up and it is locked solid. Hasnít unscrewed yet, 3 race meetings and counting. I also found that installing a miniature bearing on the drive pins made the transition from coasting to accelerate smoother. But this could be just because the outdrives where the drive pin rests was wearing out a little.

Regards,
Peter

DITTO!!! Notched diff rings! 16 races, 2 broken right front arms, 1 broken right diff outdrive and yet the spool has never losened or slipped. Cheap to boot!

Just for verification and to make sure I was not just dreaming this.

Roberto,

Brian's answer may be your solution; however,

If you are using the outer hole position on the rear tower for attaching your camber link (typical Team Losi setup with BK shock brackets), you need to knock about 3/32" off of the rear ballcups (all 4 of them). Leave as much material on the ballcup as you can to thread into. The turnbuckle length does not need to be modified.

Bill
