Default Ballpark weight

Hi,

I apologize if this has been discussed, but I've searched a bit on this thread and didn't find anything. Can anyone provide a ballpark weight for this car in race-ready trim with foam tires (i.e. equipped with trued down tires, Q2/GTX or similar small, "pro" speedo, digital servo, personal transponder, GP3700s/IB3800s, Parma Alpha/Stratus 3.0 body, etc.)? Thanks.

Andy

Equipped just like you say-mine is 51oz with no ballast in it. PT and all.

Mine is 1540 grams with rubbers, Q2, dig servo, personal trans, IB3800, Dodge 3.0.

Foams are lighter (approx 7g/wheel) so subtract that and you'll get something in the ball park of 1512 grams. (Conversion = 53.3342305 oz )

Ray / 2-Bad,

Thanks for the quick responses. Are your cars close to box-stock or do they have any LW parts? If so, could you tell what you've each replaced? Thanks.

Andy

With the Skoda 2, Mtronics cirrus,Futaba s9550, GP3300's and new HPI pro-foams I had to add 35 grams to make weight!!(1500gm + 10 to be safe) Don't know about the weight difference with 3700's but I'd say you may still have to add a little.

Yes, Mine popped off everytime a tiny touch of the boards happened. I put RPM ones on and problem solved.
