Yea, the July issue. Should be arriving any day now if you don't already have it. You've unmasked my secret identity!

I think Truhe had a sway bar on the front of his car, but numan, todd, and I did not run sway bars on our car.

And yes, Numan ran the JRXS

Default Reedy ROC Thanks

Todd,

Thanks for the E-clips for the spur gear and the spool pads, and letting me look over your shoulder and ask stupid questions.

Numans' car looked the best, It seemed as if it were on rails. Are you guys going to post RROC setups?

Thanks,
E

How did the JRXS perform at the recent Tamiya Reedy race? Anyone know?

1st and 2nd in invite as well as 2 more in the A main

not sure about 19 turn

I think Brian was the highest finisher in invite. I think 15th, Matt was near there too.

What parts are yall finding it a good idea to keep stocked in your pit box? In a few weeks I should get to run my car finally, and im just trying to think ahead to what ill need.

I would say keep the regulars with you. Arms, C-hubs, Knuckles, and rear hubs.

But, if you aren't going to mount up a servo saver, I would say keep some extra bellcrank parts with you.

And since it is a car specific spur gear, I would say keep an extra one with you.

Cool, what about towers, how have the held up? Spur gear in good, I got the prs adaptor. Got a rubberneck bumper. Kepts all my spare hubs from the old car and have c knuckles that I can make work for the front if need be.

Thanks, Dark

I can't really say about the towers. I've never broken a woven graphite shock tower on any car, so I would suspect that these aren't any different.

I included shock towers in my collection of parts, just because it can break it for me it is an odd thing to break, but merrfy's law.

Does anyone else have to keep loging in everything they come back to R/C tech. Usualy if you delete the cookie and log back in, it clears up the problem. But not in this case....It is very annoying to have to keep loging in everytime you want to post after leaving for only a few minutes.

Hi Brant,

Skoda 2 and Mazda 6, very much different. Mazda is so stable that it just understeers in the corner, entry and exit. Skoda 2 is very aggressive and I like the turn in and exit but needs "TLC" on the throttle. I tried it on THODGE Asphalt setup, Skoda2, Mazda6 and Ride Accord........the Ride Accord had the best feel, handling and lowest lap times

Thank You Joe! Sounds like I need to paint these 2 Mazda body's for customers and get myself a couple of Ride Accords. I have the same observations on the aggresiveness of the Skoda 2 but was not sure about alternatives. Thanks!
