Roly, LOL......Funny thing was if I had stayed on the track during my "incident" I may have won when he broke at the 3 minute mark, .

James, is it possible to take a pic of the car from underneath? I'm trying to figure out any other way that sheet carbon can become tweaked? Possibly a problem with a bulkhead being machined not true flat?

hhmmmmmmm, Jim

Pinion Envy lmao!

I used a hitec servo and had to grind it too, I figured if I could get a 41 on there I would be set cause that is the largest pinion ill run.

I just took off the shocks and tires and sat the chassis on a glass table and the right front and left rear are both about 1/8 to 1/4 inch off the table.

EVERY manufacturer knew these new cells would be out yet Corrally and X-ray both sold new kits and upgraded chassis plates that will not work with the new cells. Only Yokomo was the only company that is selling a new kit that was 100% 3700mah+ compatible. So dont knock on Losi when more then just them are in the same boat. Yeah it was a bad call on all of their parts but when the kits were really designed like 1 to 2 years ago the new cells were not a thought and thats the reason that most companies sold kits that do not work with 3700's. Losi is only selling a battery tray for about half the price of new chassis plate for an X-ray, Corrally and Associated sell a new chassis that will accept the new cells. Going off of that who did more for the racers? But that doesnt matter b/c most of the cars that I mentioned you need to buy another chassis then what comes with the kits to race about 80% of the times.....so I guess in the afore mentioned kits its not as big of deal b/c you need a new chassis every other week most times. I would rather buy a tray then get a whole new chassis when the cell size changes again.

Default new chassis wtf

Do you seriously have to buy a new chassis with those cars?

what if you have both types of cells, the spacing is different, if 3700's fit, 3300 wont fit as well. They must offer some sort of alternative then buying a new chassis, its like what you have to have 2 fully set up cars to race, sorry to be off track here, but I find that amazing

well, you dont HAVE to buy new chassis', but if you want the cells to fit right, you will... just like you can make the current tray work with the car now... but if you want things to fit the way it was designed, then get the tray and be happy...

is everything that is pinned sitting flush with the chassis? if the pin isnt all the way into the chassis, it could affect the tweak

I know this is extreme, but... have you taken it down to bare chassis to see for sure if it is in the plate itself? To me that would be the most direct way.

Check the center bulkheads. Those seem to add tweak into the car if they are not lined up correcty. Remove the screws from them then try again.

There is also a top plate that says "bottom" to it, make sure the plate faces down not up. I read it few pages back, Thodge posted it.

Kevin K ... Corally is selling the kit with the new 3700 style chassis included. The extra chassis is to be bought for the racers who had the first RDX cars. I can even get the IB3800's in my RDX without altering the chassis at all.

TCR - I am not a kid.... have been racing nearly 20 years. I made the comments about the kit because I thought the overall concept of the car was good. It was the execution that let them down. Like you I have an opinion and I thought Losi (read Horizon) has let us down.

My comments about the car were based on my experiences with the car. I will now leave you precious Losi boys alone. Heaven forbid someone who criticises an American manufacturer.

You should have given the Losi to me, now I could have had 3 kits and extra parts to spare.....I love my Losi. To bad for you my friend, I hope you find a kit that you'll be happy with

Your diff half, that shattered is the one with the diff nut on it right? You must have over tightened it. Same thing happened to me too when the diffs were to tight
