Default SETUP

Can anyone tell me if the standard setup for the JRX-S is good on asphault tracks? Or is it good on carpet tracks?

I believe that the standard setting in the JRX-S manual is for asphalt.

I plan on using the FUTABA S9550 (shorty) servo. Just wondering if that's a bad choice before i buy.
I am using that same servo Orlando and mine fit without any real issues.

Art, Kathy

No problem, it gave me a chance to get my feet wet running the races. I need to know what it takes.

Bill,

Yeah, you live right over the hill from me!
BTW, I did put some mighty fine blisters down the center of the those rear CS22's

Default shock rebound

I was building the rear shocks with
45wt oil and 1 o-ring (kinwald's carpet setup)

the shocks have like no rebound...is this right? how much rebound should they have with 45wt oil and 1 o-ring?

thanks

tc3blue, the oil and amount of o rings should not effect the rebound much at all, in fact running one o ring might give more rebound, from lower friction.

Try adding a few drops of oil, and retest, since most likely the low rebound is from the oil volume........hope this helps, Jim
